Tennis 2023: Bernard Tomic officially snubbed from Australian Open wildcard

Bernard Tomic was left off the wildcard entrants to the grand slam's qualifying. He is the 22nd ranked Aussie male on the tour. More than half of the nine players ranked lower than him got wildcards. Tomi is upset and will use the snub as motivation. He has won three tournaments and made four finals since the start of 2022. Tennis Australia has been looking to distance themselves from Tomie. Last season he said he would win Wimbledon before the end of his career. The 30-year-old Queenslander has contracted Covid.
