Tennis for America VISTA Blog: Alison Daigle

A month after completing her Master's degree and education fellowship program, she began her year of service at TeamFAME in Newport, Rhode Island. This past summer Teamfame hosted 8 weeks of summer camp, a fundraiser and outreach programs in the community. She has been working on many projects, including updating, digitizing, and maintaining the Team fame library. She also has worked with local high schools and universities to recruit volunteers and with community volunteers to recruited students. The highlight of her time at the organization is chaperoning students at Infosys Hall of Fame Open in Rhode island and taking inaugural graduates to the U.S. Open Fan Week in New York.
