In 2010, he said he would be married and playing for the San Francisco Giants. This came true in 2021 when he married Samantha. However, after signing a 9-year contract with the Yankees, it's almost impossible for him to play for them.

Yankees offered Aaron Judge $213.5 million for seven years earlier this year. He declined the offer. As the season progressed, his value increased and he entered free agency. The Padres and Giants were interested in signing him.
