The 2012 Camogie All-Star Team: Where Are They Now?

The 2012 Camogie season saw Wexford bring the O'Duffy Cup back to the banks of the Slaney for the third year in a row under the management of JJ Doyle. The Model county had six Camogirl All-Star winners that year.

Aoife Murray won nine All-Ireland titles during her 18-year inter-county career. She retired in 2020.

Claire O'Connor won four All-Ireland titles and retired from playing senior club camogie two years ago. She plays for Rathnure junior team. O’Connor has this year featured on TG4's 'Underdogs' as a coach and regurlarly appears on GAA Beo.

Catherine O'Loughlin retired from inter-county camogie at the age of 28. She won the O’Duffy Cup in 2012. O'the is a four-time All-Ireland winner with Buffers Alley.

Sheila Sullivan plays club camogie with Birr. Offaly made the semi-finals for the first time in their history in 2012. Birra won the senior county final for first in eight years. Oulart-the-Ballagh knocked Birrs out of the Leinster Championship last weekend. Sullivan retired from inter-county camogile in 2015. She was honoured with a civic reception from BirR Town Council in 2013 after winning her All-Star.

Pamela Mackey is a four-time All-Star winner. She plays club camogie with Douglas in Cork.

Gemma O'Connor is an 11-time All-Star winner and most decorated player in inter-county game's history. O’Connor announced her retirement from the inter county game in early 2021.

Deirdre Codd is an All-Ireland winner and still plays for Duffry Rovers.

Niamh Kilkenny is a six-time All-star in camogie. Kilksen played in the All Ireland semi-final this year. She is also a teacher in Holy Rosary College Mountbellew.

Jennifer O'Leary won four All-Ireland titles with Cork during her career. She came out of retirement earlier this year to play with Orchard county. O’Leary currently works as a PE and English teacher in Armagh.

Kate Kelly is a nine-time All-Star winner and retired from playing inter-county camogie in 2017 after 21 years of service. She won four All Ireland titles in her decorated career.

Niamh McGrath is a three-time All-Star winner (2012, 2013 and 2015). She plays club camogie with Sarsfield and recently won the county title.

Briege Corkery won eighteen All-Ireland medals in a glittering dual career. She featured in TG4's Laochra Gael series in 2021.

Katrina Mackey is a five-time All-Star winner. She played in this year's All Ireland final. Mackels is currently a post doctoral reseacher in the School of Chemistry in UCC.

Jacob won four All-Ireland medals with Wexford and captained the team as they lifted the O'Duffy Cup in 2011. She retired from club camogie after Oulart-the-Ballagh lost the rescheduled 2021 All Ireland senior final earlier this year.

Katrina Parrock is a three time All-Star winner. She won four All Ireland medals with Wexford. Parrock has also played ladies football, hockey, rugby and soccer.
