The other Canadian teams are decent enough, but the Leafs have the most elite talent and are probably the deepest team. The gap between the Toronto and the next closest team, Edmonton, is quite wide. Montreal, Ottawa, Winnipeg and Ottawa are all decent, while Vancouver and Calgary are a bit better. Winnipeg has the reigning Vezina winner and is worth a bet. All Canadian team have a chance to finish at the top of the division. If the Maple Leaf's defense can manage to stifle the cycle and get the puck out of their zone safely, they could win.
