The Commanders’ international players are all about the World Cup

Washington Commanders are a team made up of men between the ages of 22 and 32. They play in one of the most soccer-loving markets in the United States. The team has an international roster and is a Liverpool fan. In training camp, the Washington Spirit of National Women's Soccer League visited practice and had a field goal kicking competition. Commander's team hosted D.C. United in October. One of their players, Saahdiq Charles, is an American born and raised in Germany. He didn't follow the World Cup and didn’t play soccer growing up.
