The horses and people behind the build up to Melbourne Cup

The Melbourne Cup is on November 1. Thoroughbreds and trainers are preparing for the big race. Clare Lindop is Australia's first female jockey to ride in the Cup. She has developed a training program for people wanting to enter the industry. She visited Adelaide's Morphettville Racecourse. It's a popular destination for thoroughbred racing. The race runs clockwise in Queensland and NSW, anticlockwise everywhere else. Ms Lindops visited the track to learn about the preparation of thoroughbores. Her students are learning from her. They are also learning about her legacy.
