The Knicks should make Evan Fournier the first expendable veteran in trade talks

The New York Knicks are currently 8th in the Eastern Conference standings. They are 5-5 and could be playing for a high-end seed if the season ended today. Bleacher Report's Greg Swartz thinks the Knicks should consider trading away Evan Fournier. He believes the Frenchman is a bad player who should be traded. The Knicks have already traded Alec Burks and Nikola Radicevic in exchange for Nikola and a second-round pick. The team also traded Kemba Walker for the No. 11 overall pick this summer. It is possible that the team will not get anything of value in return for Fornier, but he is more suited to an off-the-bench role than a daily gig on the starting lineup.

The Knicks are considering trading Evan Fournier. P&T is unsure if they should try to build up his value before the trade deadline or keep him for the remainder of his two-year deal.
