The Queen's Royal Ascot runners include 8/1 Frankie Dettori shot

Queen Elizabeth II watched the opening day of Royal Ascot from the comfort of home for the first time in her reign earlier this week. She owns over 100 horses and earned around £6.75m from prize money down the years.

King's Lynn was the Queen's first entry at Royal Ascot 2021. She had two runners on Wednesday - Pied Piper and Spring Is Sprung. Just Fine could only manage 10th place in the King George V Stakes. Companionship was declared a non-runner for the Sandringham Stake at 5pm on account of the ground amid a deluge at Ascott. Frankie Dettori is booked to ride Reach For The Moon in Chesham. Champion Jockey Oisin Murphy will ride Tactical in Jersey Stages at 3.05pm. Light Refrain, ridden by Tom Marquand, will be the final runner in Wokingham at 6pm, followed by King’s Lynn.
