'There's no hiding from it': Jason Ryan faces big ask ahead of Springboks clashes
Jason Ryan has been appointed as the All Blacks' forwards coach. He has to prepare his players for the upcoming clashes against the Springboks in Mbombela and Johannesburg. The All Black's last two matches against Ireland and France were disappointing. Brodie Retallick is out injured and Joe Moody is injured. Nepo Laulala and Ofa Tuungafasi are out of the team. The first match is on August 6. Ryan is looking forward to the challenge. It will be a harsh litmus test for him. New Zealand lost the last series against Irish and French. They also lost to Ireland in the final two games of last season.
