Can Minnesota Revert to Late-Season Run of Road Success?

The Timberwolves have come out on the short end of both of their road games in the postseason, losing to the Lakers in the play-in tournament in addition to their Game 1 loss in Denver.

But it might be a bit premature to write them off in this series, because prior to the end of the regular season, the Timberwolves had been on a pretty impressive run on the road.

In their last dozen road games in the regular season, the Timberwolves went 9-3 SU and ATS.

For the season, Minnesota went 13-13 SU and 15-11-0 ATS on the road against Western Conference opposition.

Of their final nine road wins in the regular season, seven were against teams who qualified for either the play-in tournament or the playoffs. Overall, 13 of their 20 road wins in the regular season were against teams who either made the play-in or playoffs.
