Tolima will be hosting Santa Fe at the Estadio Manuel Murillo Toro for the 17th round of the Primera A Clausura. Tolima faced a defeat in their last league match which was away to Deportivo Cali (2-0) while Sante Fe lost at home to Rionegro Aguilas (0-5).

Sante Fe lost horribly at home against Rionegro Aguilas as they blew them 0-5. Anthony Silva fouled Jhon Salazar in the 24th minute to give Rionegro Aguilas a penalty kick that Marco Perez duly converted with a right footed finish into the bottom corner. Marco Perez, the competition’s top scorer grabbed a brace in the 43rd minute by getting on the end of Jhon Salazar. Sante Fe made two changes at half-time but it didn’t matter much as Johan Torres received a red card in the 64th minute for violent conduct. Jesus Rivas made it 3-0 for Rionegro Aguilas five minutes later. John Salazar scored a goal of his own in the 76th minute with a wonderful right footed shot from outside the box into the bottom right corner. Wilson Morelo completed the 5-0 routing with a left footed shot from the center of the box thanks to an assist from Jeison Quinones. Sante Fe has just one win in their last five league games with one draw and three losses. They’ve scored just two goals and conceded 10 goals.
