Tommy’s Oscar makes chasing debut at Carlisle

Tommy's Oscar won four straight races last season. He improved by 17lbs and came ninth in the Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. Tommy's trainer, Hamilton, is looking forward to the season ahead. Carlisle is the ideal place to start him off. Hamilton is also considering the Fighting Fifth Hictle in Newcastle in November. He decided against looking at Aintree on Grand Sefton day. The trainer has never had luck going to Aintsree. It's not Tommy’s track. However, Carlissa is a great place for jumping. it's the only race they could find for Tommy.
