Two Montreal Canadiens players are being linked to a potential trade. Joel Edmundson and Sean Monahan are the most coveted players on the Canadiens. The odds of them being traded are increasing. Edmonton Oilers confirmed to be interested in Edmundson. Monahahan is the player the Montreal has been trying to trade for the longest. He is a reliable centre who plays a two-way game. Montreal does not have to move them right now. However, they will eventually have a need to do so as the options for rentals are limited.
