Ty Gibbs, JGR Have a ‘Monster’ Win in the Books Before the NASCAR Season Starts

Monster Energy will sponsor Ty Gibbs' No. 54 Toyota in his first full Cup Series season. The rival team that stands to be adversely affected doesn't seem concerned.

Monster Energy is a big sponsor of NASCAR. It sponsored four teams last season. Monster followed Kurt Busch and was the primary sponsor in 14 of his 20 appearances. Ty Gibbs was sponsored by Monster 11 times. The company sponsored Gibbs’ JGR Toyota in the Xfinity Series in 21 races. Riley Herbst was also sponsored in 30 of 33 starts for Stewart-Haas Racing. Hailie Deegan was a sponsor for David Gilliland Racing in truck series.

Monster Energy will sponsor Ty Gibbs' Toyota in his first full season in the NASCAR Cup Series. Monster Energy has a previous relationship with Ty. Gibbs is taking the Cup series spot of Kyle Busch. Mars, Inc., the maker of M&Ms, sponsored Kyle for 75% of the time.
