UAE Pro League: High-flying Sharjah maintain perfect start to season

Jason Denayer had a disappointing debut for Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai Club. Gabrielzinho scored twice in Al Wasl's 2-1 win at Al Nasr. Kostas Manolas impressed in his first appearance for Sharjah. Champions Al Ain beat Ittihad Kalba 3-0. Carlos Carvalhal's Al Wahda thrashed Al Bataeh 4-2. Al Jazira dropped points for the first time with a 1- 1 draw at Baniyas.

Gabrielzinho is the player of the week for Al-Wasl. He scored twice in Saturday's derby against Al Wasl's rivals. Gabrielzino arrived from Rio Ave in July. Al Isl had only 29 percent possession and lost the attempts count 16-9. Adel Taarabt made his debut for the opposing team.

Mohamed Rayhi's goal from 30 yards helped Al-Dhafra beat Shabab Al Ahli 3-2. Sharjah have started the season well.  Toze, Nasr, Azaro, Caio and Ajman scored great goals.

Carlos Carvalhal is the coach of the week for his performance as Al-Wahda beat Bataeh 4-0. O Jogo reports that Carvallan is being replaced by Manolo Jimenez. Sharjah are the only team to win all their games this season.

Rodolfo Arruabarrena is nervous about the transfer window. Six UAE-eligible players scored in matchweek four. Mabkhout maintained his one-goal lead in the scoring chart. Wahda center back Fares Juma, Ahmed Fawzi, Tagliabue and Caio Canedo also got in on the action.
