Michael Feltz was sentenced to 40 years in prison for molesting a 13-year-old girl. He will serve 10 years of that sentence suspended. Felts was the head coach and president of the OC Crush softball league in Indiana. Max Scherzer is on the 15-day injured list with a left oblique irritation. The New York Mets manager Buck Showalter expects Scherzers to miss at least one start and possibly two. The Atlantic Coast Conference is trying to bolster its reputation with games against other power conferences. It is working to generate more revenue while being locked in a TV contract through 2036.
