UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Vieira odds, predictions, lines: MMA expert reveals surprising fight card picks
Holly Holm is looking to regain the UFC women's bantamweight title. She will face Ketlen Vieira in the main event of UFC Fight Night: Holam vs. Vieiras on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET from the Apex facility in Las Vegas. Holh won the title in November 2015, but she was defeated by Miesha Tate in her first defense. The 40-year-old Vieur is making her return to the Octagon for the first time since October 2020. Santiago Ponzinibbio and Michel Pereira are the co-main event in welterweight.
Holm won her first 10 fights in boxing before turning to mixed martial arts. She won the UFC bantamweight title in November 2015, but she lost the title to Miesha Tate. Holm has since won two fights, against Raquel Pennington and Irene Aldana. Vieira has been a battling champion in two lesser promotions, Mr. Cage and Big Way. She defeated Tate via unanimous decision in her last fight this past November.
Jun Yong Park is backing him to win against Eryk Anders. Gombas expects it to be close but Park will win. Anders has won just one of his last four fights. He was a linebacker on Alabama's 2009 BCS National Championship team. He held the middleweight title in the Legacy Fighting Alliance before joining the UFC in July 2017.
