Unseeded teenager wins Tiburon Challenger
Zachary Svajda beat Ben Shelton in the Tiburon Challenger final. It was Svalda's first pro title. Shelon is the son of former pro player Bryan Shelford. He is ranked 177th in world. Svadjda is 19 and ranked outside the top 300. They have a history of success in junior tennis. He beat Sheltion in a national 18-and-under boys final in Kalamazoo last year. The 5-foot-9 Svadda and 6-4 Shelter have different careers. Sam was home-schooled starting in fifth grade.
