Vols SEC Championship Odds: Now is the Time to Bet on Tennessee

However, beating Alabama will not guarantee them a trip to the title game. They will still need to win against Georgia. If the Vol's beat Georgia, their odds of winning the championship will get shorter.

Alabama has had some struggles this season. The defense has done a stellar job. Last week, Alabama could have dominated Texas A&M, but four turnovers kept the Tide from closing the game out. Tennessee has a better offense than the Aggies. However, the Vols are one of the worst teams in the nation regarding the time of possession.

Alabama and Tennessee are playing for the SEC Championship. Alabama has one of the best run games in the country. Tennessee's defense allows less than 100 yards a game on the ground. If both teams play relatively clean football with no turnovers, the winner could easily be whoever has the ball last.
