Wake Forest at Clemson: Q&A Basketball Preview
Clemson basketball is coming off a thrilling double-OT win over Penn State. They play host to Wake Forest in the ACC-opener on Friday, 12/2 at 7 pm. Wake is 7-1 and coming from a big win at Wisconsin. Robert Reinhard, a friend of the blog, gives his opinion on his team.
Last year Wake Forest went 23-8 and won the ACC tournament. This year they are ranked 69th in KenPom. They have 20 ACC games and play a road game at Rutgers and a non-conference game with LSU. Robert Reinhard and Bart Torvik expect them to go 18-13 overall and 9-11 in ACC play. Ryan Kantor is more optimistic. He believes they will continue to develop as the season progresses. Matthew Marsh has made noticeable improvements since the beginning of the year. The center has been playing well recently. His average is 10 points and 6 rebounds in 3 games.
