Wales legend Shane Williams set for final Cardiff flourish

Shane Williams is playing in the National Bowl final with Amman United in Cardiff on Sunday. He joined the village club when he was nine-years-old. His brother Dean plays opposite him on the opposite wing and his brother-in-law Gavin Lewis plays full-back. He describes the Ammans as a 'group of misfits' who work hard and play hard.

Williams retired from rugby six years ago. He turned down a night in Cardiff in favour of his home town of Amman. Now 40, he has played six games for Ammann United this season. The Ammen squad regularly convenes in the clubhouse for £2.50 pints of Dragon's Heart. His brother Dean is a plumbing engineer. He and Shane played rugby together as children. Shane has scored zero tries for the Amamn side this year. Warren Gatland's Lions squad has 40 players. 30 of them have scored tries. They are playing Caerphilly on Sunday.
