Washington Capitals vs. Minnesota Wild: Date, Time, Betting Odds, Streaming, More

Today the Washington Capitals visit the Minnesota Wild at the Xcel Energy Center in the second and final meeting between the teams this season. The Capitals received goals from Martin Fehervary and Dylan Strome in their first meeting against the Wild on Jan. 17 at Capital One Arena in a 4-2 loss.

Washington is 15-11-0-2 all time against Minnesota and have earned at least one point in seven straight games in Minnesota dating back to March 19, 2015, going 6-0-1.

The Caps will be without goaltender Darcy Kuemper who left practice yesterday early with an upper body injury. They recalled Zach Fucale from the Hershey Bears. They also re assigned winger Bogdan Trineyev from KHL Moscow Dynamo to AHL Hershey. He is the Caps fourth round pick from 2020. In 39 games with the Dynamo, he recorded two goals and 11 assists.

The Caps basically need to win out to keep their season alive. So here we go. Do or die time.
