Wawa Schwarberfest taking Phillies to World Series

Philadelphia is famous for its sandwiches. Wawa has been around since 1964 and has hosted a hoagie promotion since 2008. Every year, sandwiches are offered at discounted rates to benefit world hunger. The promotion has boosted the Phillies' World Series chances.  Lori Bruce, Wawas media relations manager, says it's been a hit with customers.

Hoagiefest promotion coincided with a big performance from Kyle Schwarber. Wawa decided to reinstate the promotion in honor of the performance. Schwarbers hit 12 home runs and 27 RBIs during Hoagiewest. He also hit a long homer in the NLCS against the Padres. The Phillies won the series 4-1. The promotion was renamed Schwaroberfest. It was introduced on October 18. They are going to play in World Series. This is their first World series in 13 years. Their last win came in 2002. In that year, they beat the Cardinals.
