Arsenal are one of two unbeaten sides in the Premier League this season, with the Gunners City’s main title rivals throughout last season. They couldn’t trouble City in their two meetings last season, with Guardiola’s side winning 3-1 at the Emirates before a 4-1 victory at the Etihad.

We predict that the Gunners could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Rice, Vieira, Odegaard; Saka, Jesus, Trossard.

We predict that City could line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Ederson; Walker, Akanji, Dias, Ake; Kovacic, Bernardo, Alvarez; Foden, Haaland, Grealish.

The first half was extremely open as both sides came close, but City should've taken the lead with Erling Haaland guilty of missing two one-vs-ones in the final 10 minutes of the half. Arsenal started the better side in the second half, and City were made to pay for their missed chances as the Gunners took the lead.

Mateo Kovacic was caught in possession by Declan Rice on the halfway line, and the Englishman found Bukayo Saka on the right who led an Arsenal counter-attack.
