The term of suspension does not prohibit participation in designated races. The penalties are based on the California Horse Racing Board rules. For example, the term is for 3 days for the third race at Santa Anita Park on March 5, 2022.

James Baker, trainer of Fed Money, was suspended for 30 days and fined $500 for a medication violation. Fed money finished first in the 10th race at Churchill Downs on November 4, 2021. The suspension is to be served from March 1, 2022 through March 15, 2022. Mr. Baker is denied the privileges of all facilities under the jurisdiction of the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission.

Suzanne Zelman, trainer, was fined $500 for failing to tend to business in a proper manner. She had to scratch the 6th race at Aqueduct Racetrack on March 5th 2022.
