West Brom: Supercomputer shares Championship promotion prediction

West Brom have a 24% chance of promotion to the Premier League from the Championship, according to a Super Computer from FiveThirtyEight.

The Baggies have had some turnaround this campaign and have looked every inch like a promotion-chasing team since the arrival of Carlos Corberan as the club’s new head coach.

The Super Computer made the bold prediction following the West Brom comeback win against Luton Town on Saturday 14 January.

The Super Computer as previously stated gives West Brom a 24% chance of promotion to the Premier League and a 51% chance of making the playoffs.

Only Burnley, Sheffield United and Middlesborough rank higher than the Baggies in the Super Computer’s humble opinion.

Premier League bound?

It’s hard not to get overly excited over the recent form of the Albion and the job Corberan has done so far is nothing short of fantastic.

If the team keep churning out results then there is no reason for them not to be chasing Premier League glory, just imagine where the team would be sitting if Steve Bruce had left earlier.

The Luton fixture was a prime example of the grit and determination Corberan has instilled in this Baggies side and they have become a formidable outfit to face.

There is obviously still a long way to go in the campaign and there will likely still be twists and turns aplenty but for now, the future is looking fairly rosy.

With luck, the club can sort things out in the upper echelons of the Baggies too, this is a dreary haunting shadow that continues to cause damage to everything fans love.
