‘We’ve got to win it’: England taking ‘best prepared squad’ to Women’s Rugby World Cup

England have the best prepared squad in their history for the Women's Rugby World Cup. Head coach Simon Middleton believes they need to win it. Sarah Hunter will captain England for a third time. Scrum-half Mo Hunt is the only player to be left out of the 32-strong group. Abby Dow is included despite being sidelined since breaking a leg in April. The team depart for New Zealand on Friday. The Red Roses are strong favourites to claim a World cup. They have won 25 consecutive matches. Their last Grand Slam came in the April, which included a Grand slam. Mo Hunter has been left off the squad. She has lost out to preferred scrum-halves Leanne Infante, Lucy Packer and Claudia MacDonald.
