The Orioles are going to have many problems this season. They have no proven quantities in their starting rotation. The outfield is also very unproven. Their playoff odds have improved. They now have a 0.1% chance of making it into the postseason. It's been a fifth straight losing season for the Orioles. Mike Elias's comments about trying to maximize wins in the coming season were just another reminder that they are not going be successful. There is not much hope for their success as a group. Fangraphs trolled Orioles fans on Twitter by making an updated graphic that showed every team having 100% playoff chances except the team with 0%.

Alex, Stacey, Andrea, Mark, Harrison and Paul are looking forward to the 2021 season. They hope that the Orioles will have more patience at the plate and finish with a team OBP over .330. They also hope for a steady flow of young prospects to make it to Major League level and for the Anthony Santander trade to come to fruition. The team is expected to finish in the top 10 in their division.

Mark is pessimistic about the Orioles in 2021. He thinks the team will be lacking in quality pitchers.

Andrea, Paul, Harrison, Stacey and Alex are worried about the Orioles' young players development. Alex is optimistic about their chances. The team needs to take advantage of early opportunities without mortgaging the future. The club needs an established starting pitcher or a coveted position player. It's still a year or two away, but eventually the club must pay for anestablished starting pitchers or an experienced positionplayer.
