Arsenal need to win to keep up the pressure on Manchester City in the Premier League title race as they host fierce London rivals Chelsea on Tuesday at the Emirates Stadium

Arsenal face a crucial match against Chelsea on Tuesday night, with their slim chances of winning the Premier League title currently hanging by a thread.

Chelsea make the six mile trip to the Emirates Stadium, with the return of Frank Lampard to the club not going well. Chelsea have lost each of their five matches since Lampard came back as interim manager, with their current 12th place in the Premier League a poor return on owner Todd Boehly's £600million+ investment in the club's playing squad.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are in poor form of their own, with no wins in their last four matches and a defeat to Manchester City in their most recent outing dealing a substantial blow to their title hopes. However, they will view the visit of the misfiring Blues as a chance to regain their confidence after a tough run.

Arteta took over at Arsenal in the 2019-20 season, the campaign which Lampard was also appointed by Chelsea for the first time. However, following a poor eight-placed finished in that season, Arteta has since transformed the Gunners into a title challenging team, while Lampard was sacked from Chelsea before returning amid their current struggles in the league's bottom half.

They are now back to managing against each other for clubs which they were also players for - but it might not be that way for long as Mauricio Pochettino is lined up to take over at Stamford Bridge for next season.

It is set to be an entertaining London derby on Tuesday night and here is how you can follow the action:
