The Reds have the fourth-best odds to land the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 Draft during the league’s inaugural draft lottery. The Reds could drop as low as the 10th pick if they lose the ping pong balls. LSU outfielder Dylan Crews, Tennessee pitcher Chase Dollander and Mississippi shortstop Jacob Gonzalez are generally considered the top college players. Outfielder Max Clark, from Franklin, Indiana, and outfielder Walker Jenkins, of North Carolina, are considered as top high school players ahead of the spring season.
