What is a Three-Way Moneyline?
A three-way moneyline allows you to bet less on the favorites in soccer and hockey games. The three options for the three way moneylines are 1, X, and 2. In neutral site games, there is still a team assigned as home and away.
Betting on NHL is straightforward. Three-way moneyline presents the options of home team (1), away team, and draw at the end of regulation (X). A hockey game has three twenty-minute periods of play that make up regulation time.
In soccer, there is a place for a draw, which gets a team one point instead of three. In the Champion’s League, the three-way moneyline bets are graded after the 90 minutes of regulation, even though there's extra time played. In this way, a player can advance in the competition. The three way moneylines are different from the traditional two- way ones.
