Vancouver Canucks are still looking for their first win of the 2022-23 NHL season. They are currently 0-5-2 and sit dead last in the NHL. The team had strong expectations after making some big commitments this past summer. Columbus Blue Jackets were a popular breakout pick in preseason. However, they lost their opening eight games and finished with 76 points. They were fired after seven games. It's not too late for the Canucks. Other teams have also had terrible starts to the season in recent NHL history. For example, the Toronto Maple Leafs started the last season poorly. Their record was terrible.
