What time is kick-off between Ireland and England? TV channel, FREE stream and odds for signature World Cup warm-up

IRELAND take on England this weekend in what ought to be the most educational of our three World Cup warm-up games.

While Italy have made strides in recent years, they were comfortably dispatched as usual when they made the trip to Dublin earlier this month.

And Samoa on August 26 aren't likely to provide much of a test.

So while Steve Borthwick's charges are at perhaps their lowest ever ebb in memory, this should be the stiffest test prior to next month's competition getting under way.

Here are all of the main details to know around the match:

When is Ireland versus England and what time is kick-off?

The match kicks-off in the Aviva Stadium at 5.30 pm on Saturday August 19.

What TV channel is it on and can I stream it?

It will be shown live on RTE Two so you have the free streaming option provided by the RTE Player.

Alternatively, you can stream it on Amazon Prime if you happen to be a subscriber with them.

What are the odds?

Andy Farrell's men are 14 point favourites in a real sign of the times.

A draw is set at 19/1.

What are the teams?

Ireland: Hugo Keenan, Mack Hansen, Garry Ringrose, Bundee Aki, James Lowe, Ross Byrne, Jamison Gibson-Park; Andrew Porter, Dan Sheehan, Tadhg Furlong, Tadhg Beirne, James Ryan, Peter O'Mahony, Josh van der Flier, Cian Prendergast.

England: Freddie Steward, Anthony Watson, Joe Marchant, Manu Tuilagi, Elliot Daly, George Ford, Ben Younger; Ellis Genge, Jamie George, Will Stuart, David Ribbans, Courtney Lawes, Ben Earl, Billy Vunipola.

What's been said in the build-up?

It's been entirely dominated by a star fly-half who won't even be involved...and no, not Johnny Sexton.

Although he had his red card against Wales controversially overturned mid-week, Owen Farrell won't feature after a draining few days under a massive spotlight.

On Thursday his dad Andy let rip at the 'circus' surrounding how the flashpoint has been covered.

“Well, whatever I say anyway is probably flawed anyway because I know what you are talking about and when you’re talking about somebody’s son.

“And you are asking me the question, it’s always going to be flawed anyway so what does that really matter, you know.

“I don’t normally say too much because of that reason about my son.

“What I probably would say is, at this moment in time, that the circus that has gone around all of this is absolutely disgusting, in my opinion, disgusting.

“And I suppose those people who have loved their time in the sun get a few more days to keep going at that.”
