He is still young and growing. John Tavares scored 24 goals and 54 points in his rookie season. Jack Eichel scored 24 goal and 56 points his first year. Mc Michael scored 7 goals, 21 points last year, but that is not much better than Jack Hughes. The development curve of a player is different for each player. Some players hit their boom sooner than others. Capitals fans would love if McMinnim scored 30-60 points this season, as he did last time.
