Doncaster is preparing to stage the final Classic of the season in Britain with the three-year-old stayers gearing up to tackle the St Leger.

As well as being the longest in distance, the 14-furlong contest is the oldest of the five prestigious races and the latest crop will be bidding to emulate last year’s winner Eldar Eldarov.

Desert Hero’s victories at Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood has spurred talk of a Royal winner in the year of King Charles III’s coronation, although it looks set to be a competitive renewal with Aidan O’Brien, John & Thady Gosden and Charlie Appleby likely to field leading contenders.

You can run the rule over our antepost St Leger odds on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise all the key details about this year’s renewal can be found below.

St Leger 2023 betting

St Leger odds are on paddypower.com and prices for the leading contenders can be seen on our snazzy widgets below.

Queen’s Vase winner Gregory is the favourite with Paddy Power for the St Leger as the unbeaten colt bids to follow in the hooves of last year’s winner Eldar Eldarov.

Irish Oaks heroine Savethelastdance is next in our early betting for the Classic and conditions could suit her preference for juice in the ground.

Ulster Derby first Tower Of London is also prominent in the antepost market despite failing to score in the Bahrain Trophy last time out.
