Which MLB legend is managing Italy in the WBC Classic?

The World Baseball Classic is returning in 2023. It will be played between March 8th and March 21st, 20th. USA won the last year's tournament. Mike Piazza will manage the Italian team. He played in the MLB from 1992 to 2007. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016. His number 31 was retired by the New York Mets. The Italian players are mostly Italian-Americans.
