Which players will score in the 2023 Super Bowl? Our betting picks
Our Super Bowl LVII betting preview continues as we shift the focus to all of the touchdown props between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 12.
Last year, both Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp and Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins each found the end zone twice, and Kupp won the Super Bowl LVI MVP award at +600 on Tipico Sportsbook.
With tons of options to wager on for both sides, here are my three must-bet players to score a TD in Super Bowl LVII with odds presented by Tipico Sportsbook.
1. Eagles' Jalen Hurts (+100)
My favorite bet of this group has to be Hurts, currently at even money to score a rushing touchdown in Super Bowl LVII. The Eagles' signal caller led all QBs with 13 scores (career-high) on the ground in the regular season and has found the end zone with his legs in both games this postseason.
Hurts has rushed for a TD in five of his last six overall, and in 11 of 17 games this year. As one of the best dual-threat QBs in the NFL, bet on Hurts to score a rushing TD in Super Bowl 57.
2. Chiefs' TE Travis Kelce (-120)
The only player with better odds than Hurts to score on Super Bowl Sunday is Kelce. The 33-year-old notched a career-high 13 TDs in the regular season and has scored three times already in the playoffs.
The odds of -120 (Bet $120 to win $100) is worth the price for Kelce, but I'd rather bet the nine-year veteran at +500 (Bet $100 to win $500) to score twice as I believe QB Patrick Mahomes will look for him early and often with a injured wide receiver room.
3. Eagles' DeVonta Smith (+175)
Smith leads the team in receiving yards (97) in the playoffs and already scored against the New York Giants in the Divisional Round.
While teammates Miles Sanders, Dallas Goedert and A.J. Brown have better odds on Tipico Sportsbook, I'd bet on the value of the former Heisman Trophy winner to score instead.
If you believe all three of these players will find the end zone, I'd place a parlay and wager a small amount currently at +908 (Bet $10 win 90) for Hurts, Kelce and Smith all to score in Super Bowl 57.
