Why isn’t James Sands on the USMNT?
James Sands has been left out of the USMNT squad for the final three friendlies in advance of World Cup. He has played for Rangers FC in Europe recently. The center back position is a problem area for USNT. The coach should give him another chance. It's a shortsighted decision. There are many options in the position. USPNT needs defensive depth. John Brooks and Aaron Long have been injured. They played poorly in two pre-Qatar friendies. This leaves the defensive position in need of reinforcements. NYCFC has many players with USNPs connections.
