Major League Baseball is losing viewers. The sport is too long, boring and lacks drama. It's scheduled in the middle of the summer and the playoffs are held in July and August. Many teams get bounced from the regular season within a week of playoffs. The opening round of a limited series is five games; first to three wins. There is a clear drought in sports calendar in summer. Baseball should play most of its games in winter and in warm weather. MLB should also change the schedule. NBA and NFL play their games during the warmer months. They play the majority of their regular seasons in this time. This year, the same amount of people watched the LA Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors game than the National League Championship Series.
