Will the Cardinals make a splash on Juan Soto?
John Mozeliak, president of baseball operations for the Cardinals, traveled to Washington with the team to play a three-game series against Soto. The Cardinals are interested in a player from Sato. San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers are also interested. Mozeliak doesn't want to make any trades before Tuesday's trade deadline. The Athletic reports that the package for Suto could include several rookies, prospects and young players. It's possible that a package could also include some of current Dylan Carlson, Tyler O'Neill, Nolan Gorman, Brendan Donovan, Juan Yepez, Matthew Liberatore, Jordan Walker, Masyn Winn, Alec Burleson, Michael McGreevy and Gordon Graceffo.
