Will the FIFA World Cup 2022 affect the rest of the season in PL?

FIFA World Cup 2022 will be held in winter. Previous seasons of PL were not affected by FIFA World Cups. The World cup started in November and will go until December.

The PL has already announced schedule adjustments in light of the FIFA World Cup's schedule. The PL paused its play starting on November 14 and will resume on December 26. This is the first time in history that the PL called a prolonged mid-season break. Players were granted a week to prepare with their national teammates before they were on their way to Qatar to compete in the World Cups. Once the tournament ends by December, players will only have 8 days to recover before the season resumes.

FIFA World Cup 2022 will affect the schedule of the Premier League. La Liga has already made schedule adjustments to accommodate the World cup. Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, MLS, A-League, and UEFA also have to make changes.
