With Cam Johnson assuming the Crowder role, who will fill his?

Phoenix Suns are looking for a replacement for the departed Jae Crowder. Cameron Johnson is the heir apparent to Crower's starting minutes. Johnson played 50 games last season as a bench player. GM James Jones is looking to find a trade for Crowner. He is also looking at draft picks. The Suns begin their new season on October 19. They have 28 minutes of playing time left. The team has enough players. Jones believes they have a good team. It's possible they will find an opportunity to improve the team in the future.

Ish Wainright signed a two-way contract with the Suns this past offseason. He played in 45 games last season, averaging 8 minutes per game. Wainsworth needs to improve his defensive play to get more playing time. He shot 36.4% from beyond the arc in his last 10 games during the regular season.

Ish posted a 100.6 DEFRTG last season. He played a lot of games at the end of the games. Ish needs to play defense consistently to take Cam's minutes.

Cam Johnson is moving to the starting five. Torrey Craig is inconsistent and a scoring option off the bench is one thing you lose when he moves to that position. James Jones traded for him twice in the past two seasons.

Dario Saric is back in the starting lineup for the Phoenix Suns. He will give Monty Williams some flexibility in his line-up. With him at the five, the Suns can create a five-out attack. Utilizing Bismack Biyombo and Dario at four will be an interesting experiment for Montys. Bizack is not a perimeter player, but he can fill it up from deep.

Jock Landale will play as a backup power forward this season. Monty Williams is excited about his potential. Lande had a 106.9 OFFRTG and 109.2 DEFR TG last season in 53 bench games played. He will wear number 11. He is a big man, but playing him along Biyombo may be painful to watch.
