Philadelphia sports teams have won fewer than 10 titles since 1974. The 1983 Sixers, the 1980 Phillies, and the 1974 and 75 Flyers are the only ones that are still relevant today. The 1993 Phillies were popular even though they lost to the Blue Jays. In the end, they were a team that won the World Series. Union won a trophy despite being a underdog. They were playing under the weight of expectations. It's a different story than the Phils. Their team was a #1 seed with a battled-tested roster. Whereas the Union were operating under crushing expectations and asked to cap off the best era in team history with the second trophy.
