Women's T20 Challenge: Velocity strike back to stun Supernovas in thrilling opener
Velocity beat Supernovas in the opening match of the Jio Women's T20 Challenge in Sharjah. Supernova's team collapsed to 126-8 after Chamari Atapattu and Harmanpreet Kaur had put Velocity into bat. Sune Luus and Sushma Verma scored 51 runs off 21 balls to turn the match around. Ekta Bisht took 3-22. Leigh Kasperek took 2-23. Veda Krishnamurthy scored 29 off 28 balls. The match finished with 50 runs needed off 30 balls, which Velocity won.
