2022 MLB futures odds: Favorites, best bets, sleepers to win AL, NL, World Series

The 2022 MLB regular season is already a third of the way. The offense has improved league-wide. Futures betting odds for AL pennant, NL pennants, and World Series winners are available.

The Toronto Blue Jays are the best bet for AL Pennant at +450. They have won 10 of their past 12 games and have a fearsome lineup. Their rotation of Kevin Gausman, Alek Manoah, Jose Berrios, and Yusei Kikuchi could wreak havoc if they all remain healthy and click at the same time this fall.

The Boston Red Sox are the best sleeper for the AL pennant. They have won six in a row and seven of their last 10 games. Trevor Story has been a big success for them lately. The team is also very good on the field, especially the pitching. Chris Sale could be back soon.

Cleveland Guardians are 25-26 and 1.5 games back from a wild card spot in the AL. They have had seven home rainouts and have a lot of injuries.

New York Mets are the best bet for NL pennant at +350. New York's team is very good this season, especially with injuries to the rotation. New Yorkers lead the majors in runs, hits, batting average and on-base percentage.

San Diego Padres are the best sleeper for NL pennant at +700.

The Padres are one of the NL's best teams. Fernando Tatis Jr. hasn't played a game this season. Eric Hosmer, Jurickson Profar and Joe Musgrove have been revelations. MacKenzie Gore has been as electric as advertised.

St. Louis Cardinals are a long shot for the NL pennant, but they have a good chance to make a run. They rank in the top five in runs, hits, and average, second in stolen bases, while their +52 run differential is the fourth best in MLB. The only question marks with them relate to pitching, especially the quality of Adam Wainwright and Miles Mikolas.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are the best bet to win the World Series at +400. Mookie Betts has returned to MVP form and Freddie Freeman has proven to be a massive addition for LA. The Dodgers rotation is 22-5 despite Clayton Kershaw sitting on the IL.

The Yankees are the best value to win the World Series at +600. They are currently the top team in the league with 83 home runs and 22 RBIs. Aaron Judge is the MVP candidate. The Yanks are 23-7 at home and the first team to reach 40 wins this season.

Boston Red Sox are the best long shot to win the World Series at +4000. Their bats have awakened just in time for summer. If their bullpen improves and GM Chaim Bloom makes some moves to aid the postseason push, they have a better shot at the title.
