2023 Black-Eyed Susan Stakes: Updated odds on race day

Before the Kentucky Derby comes the Kentucky Oaks. Before the Preakness Stakes we get the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes.

On Friday, the best three-year-old fillies will once again take to the track for the second leg of their triple crown quest. That crown just won’t be claimed in 2023 as Kentucky Oaks winner Pretty Mischievous is not in the field.

But there is still one name entering the starting gate that will be familiar to those who monitored the Oaks. Hoosier Philly is back after failing to reach the field at Churchill Downs two weeks ago.

Bob Baffert’s Faiza (7-5) enters as the favorite to win the Black Eyed-Susan while Todd Pletcher scratched his two entrants.
