ALBERT DURAEV VS JUN YONG PARK LOWDOWN

Albert Duraev (16-4) returns on a mission to build another streak. After his UFC debut earning a unanimous decision over Roman Kopylov (2021) he was riding a 10-fight win streak including two knockouts and five submissions. However, he then ran into Joaquin Buckley (2022) who punched his eye shut forcing the doctor to call an end to the fight. He returned nine months later and rolled back into the win column earning a split decision over Chidi Njokuani (2023).

Jun Yong Park (16-5) has also recovered from a knockout loss. Gregory Rodrigues (2021) snapped a three-fight win streak in a brutal battle finishing Park in the second round. He bounced back with a split decision over Eryk Anders (2021) and has picked his form back up with submissions over Joseph Holmes (2022) and Denis Tiuliulin (2023).

ALBERT DURAEV VS JUN YONG PARK PREDICTION

Both fighters are very skilled and well-rounded, but do not expect any fireworks here. They match up similarly physically, but Duraev is the stronger man.

He is a very powerful wrestler and hits hard although his cardio only makes him dangerous for the first couple rounds. Park has much better cardio and is very durable.

Duraev is more likely to call upon his grappling here as Park is a slick boxer. Park has very good takedown defence, but Duraev will persist until his gas tank dries up.

We can see Duraev finding a lot of success with his wrestling earning enough control time to sway the judges. However, we can also see him gas out in the second round allowing Park to fend off the takedowns and easily and pick him apart on the feet.

We are backing Park to scrape a decision but there is a lot of value on Duraev as the underdog, but his is a close fight to call.
