Australia vs Netherlands Cricket World Cup 2023: Expected lineups, head-to-head, toss, predictions and betting odds

Australia and Netherlands will face off in the ICC Cricket World Cup on Wednesday, 25 October at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

Australia's World Cup campaign has blown hot and cold, with disappointing performances against India and South Africa before Adam Zampa and openers David Warner and Mitchell Marsh hit some form against Sri Lanka and Pakistan. They currently have two wins from four games.

Netherlands will be hoping to join them on two wins. A victory for the Dutch could really open up the table, and they have already shown they can cause a problem or two for the stronger teams, by beating South Africa. Scott Edwards has consistently reiterated the side's ambition to finish in the top four, and that attitude should serve them well.

The weather forecast for tomorrow in Mumbai suggests a high of 31 degrees Celsius in the afternoon and a low of 27 degrees Celsius in the evening. No rain is predicted.

Australia vs Netherlands: Prediction for CWC 2023 match

Despite their two wins, Australia have not quite clicked as an overall unit. The openers came good against Pakistan, and leg spinner Adam Zampa has hit some good form but they haven't quite put it all together yet.

Netherlands have been excellent with the ball in the tournament thus far, but their batting is unlikely to trouble many of the top teams. Delhi has been a high-scoring venue in this tournament, which could work against them but captain Scott Edwards' tactical acumen should keep them in the contest.

This is a game that Australia should be able to win, but if they do not perform up to scratch, Netherlands will not let them off the hook.
