Best Bets & Player Props For All Three NFL Week 15 Saturday Games

Saturday NFL football is back with a massive tripleheader, with all six teams fighting for either seeding spots, or divisional titles in their playoff lives.

When it comes to Saturday regular season games, the road team has shown a remarkable edge on . Over the last five seasons, the road side is a shocking 10-2-3 against the spread. Over the last two decades, they’ve covered over 63% of the time.

That’s good news for the Colts and Dolphins, each getting big points, and the Ravens as a road dog at Cleveland.

Bookies.com NFL handicapper Adam Thompson – who is a robust 13-3 in his last 16 and 61.7% on the entire year – reveals his top pick and prop for each Saturday matchup.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Minnesota Vikings

Colts vs. Vikings Over/Under Pick

We’re up to 47.5 points as the total has crept during the week. The last three weeks, these teams are allowing a combined 59 ppg. But overall this year, it’s only 45.0. Look at those numbers and double-down on the 40.1 ppg these teams are combining.

The Over is king in Vikings games but is 8-2 in the last 10 Colts efforts, including 6-1 vs. teams with winning records. The defenses have the edge here. Go with the Under.

Best Colts vs. Vikings Player Prop

Michael Pittman, Over 68.5 Receiving Yards

Odds:

Pittman is the top playmaker in the Colts passing game, but he’s finished Over this total just one time in the last seven games, and that was at only 75 yards. But these are the Vikings they’re playing this week. Minnesota has allowed over 300 yards passing in the last five games, and 330-plus the last three. If Matt Ryan can’t connect with Pittman here for yards, it’s time for the QB to look into broadcasting.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns

Ravens vs. Browns Point Spread Pick

The Ravens’ QB situation isn’t great, but this is a run-first team and the QB will be run-first as well. That’s a good spot to be in against a Browns defense that’s bottom-10 vs. the run and gave up 160 yards in the first meeting. Cleveland’s run-first attack isn’t likely to be as successful; the Ravens are No. 2 vs. the run and are giving up just 53.2 ypg rushing the last six weeks. Jump on the Ravens as road dogs.

Best Ravens vs. Browns Player Prop

J.K. Dobbins, Over 48.5 Rushing Yards

Odds:

Dobbins returned to action last week and promptly rushed for 120 yards on just 15 carries. So why is this number so low? He’s not going to average 8.0 yards per carry as he did vs. the Steelers, though the Browns’ rush D is actually worse than Pittsburgh’s. Gus Edwards will get his share, but the Ravens could run the ball 40 times here. If Dobbins gets close to half of those touches, he should get to this total.

Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills

Dolphins vs. Bills Point Spread Pick

Tua and cold weather don’t mix. He’s 0-4 in his coldest games with twice as many turnovers as touchdowns. Miami’s defense is struggling lately and the Bills are hitting their stride, winners of four straight. The last three Miami games in Buffalo played on Halloween or later were won by the Bills by 15, 30 and 25. Lock in the Bills to win going away at home.

Best Dolphins vs. Bills Player Prop

Josh Allen, Over 1.5 TDs

Odds:

Allen has just six passing TDs in Buffalo’s last six games, compared to 19 in the previous seven games. So what gives? Nothing, really. But he’s averaging 2.6 TDs in nine career games vs. Miami. With the belief Miami folds under the cold and the pressure, Allen should be back to his scoring ways. He’s due for a three-TD evening.
